Vicky and the boys have been entertaining audiences along the Northern Beaches and throughout Sydney since 2005. The band started out out as a 4 piece guitar based band playing regularly at the Time & Tide Hotel Dee Why where we quickly built up a great local following. Over the years we’ve had a few line-up changes and have gone from being a 4 piece to a 6 piece band after being joined by Will Kirkby (Willpower) on Saxophone and then Peter White on Keys, this added to our sound as it is now which is everything from playing The Blues to Funky dance beats, Motown classics, Sweet Soul music & mighty fine Rock & Roll!
We’ve played a few local festivals … The Manly Food Wine & Sustainability Festival 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, The Freshwater Fair 2009, 2010, Manly World Food Markets 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 The Brookvale Show 2013, Corporate Events and many other varied venues and have received positive feedback wherever we have played, Some of these venues include Dee Why RSL, Collaroy Services Beach Club, Manly Warringah Leagues Club, The Manly Fig, Balgowlah RSL, The Time and Tide Hotel, Mona Vale Hotel, The Star Room Darling Harbour, Powerhouse Museum, The Opera Point Marquee Sydney, and many more.
